TietoEnator enhances its managed service offering for leading financial institutions with ntl:Telewest Business

Robust network enables TietoEnator to provide secure 24x7 support for financial services customers
Secure infrastructure protects financial details of consumers and businesses

12 June, 2007. ntl:Telewest Business, part of the Virgin Media Group, is enabling IT services company TietoEnator to enhance its hosted managed service offering through the provision of a highly secure and robust communications network. TietoEnator’s customers that use a hosted solution, which include the Co-operative Bank, will benefit from an improved disaster recovery capability, as the robust connectivity enables TietoEnator to provide its customers with 24x7 support.

With 60 customers within the UK’s banking sector, TietoEnator required an inherently secure solution to ensure the safety and privacy of consumers and businesses’ financial details.

TietoEnator is also using an ntl:Telewest Business’s Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IPVPN) to connect its 380 UK employees based in five UK offices.
