Vito Morawetz is Director, Interconnect for ntl:Telewest
Business, Vito is directly responsible for all "telco" Access and
Interconnect relationships for both ntl:Telewest Business and the
wider Virgin Media Group.
Vito has been involved in the telecommunications sector for over
15 years. He started his career in market research for BIS/Nynex in
Milan in 1992 and later became a management consultant for
Cambridge Strategic Management Group (London and Boston) and
DDV/Logica (London and The Netherlands).
In 2000 he joined MCIWorldCom (now VerizonBusiness) where he
held a number of positions becoming, in 2002, Director of Network
Strategy with responsibility for MCI's telco cost management
programmes for the Europe, Middle East and Africa
region.
Vito joined Cable & Wireless in 2004 leading the UK
Interconnect team and working on Cable & Wireless' acquisition
of Energis and the subsequent integration and transformation plan
for the combined company.
An economist by training, Vito started his career as an economic
development analyst focusing on African countries.
